Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Snowflake data platform architectures.
- Define data warehousing standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Architect ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks.
- Implement Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Data Sharing solutions.
- Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data lakes, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Optimize platform performance, workload management, and cost efficiency.
- Implement security controls including RBAC, data masking, and row-level security.
- Establish data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance practices.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business-driven data solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data warehousing, data architecture, and cloud data platforms.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, administration, and implementation.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and large-scale data integration.
- Experience designing enterprise data solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, performance optimization, and data engineering best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
