About the Role

Dal-Tile is seeking an exceptional Customer Service/Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for providing support to walk-in customers, processing sales transactions, and performing warehouse duties such as receiving, loading/unloading, order fulfillment, and inventory checks. The position may involve the daily use of forklift and/or crane equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serves walk-in customers, assists with order requirements, answers inquiries, provides samples, and offers selection assistance.
• Completes sales transactions and accepts payments.
• Addresses and resolves customer complaints, including returns and order errors.
• Processes payments and receipts, reconciles DSRs and cash box, prepares bank deposits, and balances the petty cash box.
• Prepares various performance reports, updates customer master files, and creates vendor orders.
• Enters customer orders, creates plant/RDC orders, and completes stock replenishment orders.
• Prepares sales slips.
• Produces daily sales reports.
• Pulls and assembles customer orders.
• Checks outbound orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Performs inventory stock checks, restocks and labels vendor products, and maintains displays.
• Moves, stores, and replenishes material.
• Conducts daily cycle counts.
• Receives and unloads inbound material.
• Processes inbound shipments and stocks material.
• Processes customer returns and notifies management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates crane forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility through sweeping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and general office maintenance.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying safety rules and reporting accidents and unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to regularly lift 15-30 lbs.
• Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs at certain times (team lift required for items over 36 inches or more than 70 lbs).
