About the Role

The Climate Policy Officer role supports the development and delivery of the Council’s climate related policies, strategies and action plans. This is a delivery focused policy role, supporting the development of evidence based policies, programme activity and governance processes that contribute to the Council’s climate, net zero and air quality objectives. The post offers the opportunity to build experience across a range of climate related disciplines while developing core policy, analysis and stakeholder engagement skills within a local government context.
