About the Role
As a Financial Transformation, Government and Public Sector, Associate, you will unlock your potential and drive meaningful outcomes that elevate your career. Your role will involve supporting teams in delivering business-led, technology-enabled projects for Finance Consulting services, assisting in preparing materials and logistics for workshops, and contributing to Finance Transformation engagements.
Responsibilities
- Support teams in delivering business-led, technology-enabled projects for Finance Consulting services.
- Assist in preparing materials and logistics for workshops with key Finance stakeholders.
- Contribute to Finance Transformation engagements, including supporting technology tool implementations for Finance Operations.
- Assist in Finance Vision & Strategy and Target Operating Model design activities.
- Help assess and improve Finance processes, supported by technology.
- Collaborate with engagement managers and senior team members to manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Prepare and review deliverable content to ensure quality and consistency with PwC and client expectations.
- Participate in proposal development by providing research and supporting documentation.
Requirements
- Interest in upskilling for a digital world and openness to learning new tools and technology trends.
- Commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
- Foundational knowledge or experience in Finance (e.g., Accounting, FP&A, Reporting & Analytics) is an asset.
- Internship, co-op, or entry-level experience in consulting or audit is an asset.
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, Microsoft, Oracle) is an asset.
- Basic understanding of core Accounting areas: Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay.
- Interest in process improvement or re-engineering initiatives in back office accounting areas.
