About the Role

GE Vernova is committed to electrifying and decarbonizing the world. This role is critical for moving projects from construction to long-term operations, ensuring successful project completion and handover.

Responsibilities

  • Compile the "as-built" documentation package by reviewing receiving documents, results, certification documents, and commissioning reports.
  • Identify, track, and close out "punch list" items to ensure project completion before final payment milestones.
  • Track the delivery schedule of wind turbine components to align with construction crew availability.
  • Assist in reviewing daily field reports, tracking hours worked, and ensuring contractor adherence to safety and quality protocols.

Requirements

  • Students must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program from an accredited university.
  • Eligible Majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Supply Chain, or related.
  • Preferred GPA of 3.2/4.0 overall or higher.
  • Passion for the wind energy industry, engineering, and dedication to a career in technology.
  • Proven scholastic achievements, proactive leadership skills, and prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, positive individual who is flexible in changing environments.
  • Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving and learning agility.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in project teams in an international environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable).
