About the Role
This role offers an opportunity to represent Scottish interests in London, combining policy advice, diplomatic engagement, and exposure to Ministers and senior stakeholders. You will work within a cross-agency environment at Scotland House London, a platform for developing trade and investment links, international networks, diplomatic relations, and government-to-government collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Represent Scotland's interests in London.
- Work in a cross-agency environment within a diverse team to deliver outcomes across policy priorities.
- Facilitate engagement with the international community to deliver priorities as defined in the Programme for Government.
- Support the delivery of a comprehensive work programme to promote Scottish Government international and economic priorities.
- Provide exposure to international counterparts.
Requirements
- Must be a substantive colleague on level transfer from Core SG.
- Must be a Core Scottish Government employee.
- Political acuity will be important.
