About the Role
As a Channel Marketing Specialist, you will implement marketing strategies defined by global marketing and drive marketing activities for sales channels in collaboration with local sales teams within the Benelux, France, UK/IRL, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, and Ivory Coast region.
Responsibilities
- Implement channel marketing strategy, including PR, advertising, marketing resources, newsletters, initiatives, suggestions, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Maintain regular contact with media, including issuing press releases, sharing news, and attending events.
- Organize the creation and publication of reference case stories in online and offline media, collaborating with local sales teams.
- Develop media strategy and planning with regional AV magazines.
- Create regional newsletters with regional and global content, maintain distribution lists, and measure effectiveness.
- Organize events such as product introductions, roadshows, exhibitions, reseller events, and training, aligning with global strategy and local needs.
- Manage event logistics, including design, lodging, catering, invitations, training certifications, and follow-up.
- Create and process purchase orders in Certify and monitor expenses within the assigned marketing budget.
- Identify social media post opportunities and collaborate with the global social media team.
- Produce marketing assets like brochures, banners, backdrops, shirts, and giveaways to support events.
- Support and review the translation of assets in collaboration with global marketing.
- Define and support the execution of marketing plans for key resellers and distributors in collaboration with sales.
- Support company objectives by completing additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a proactive marketing individual with recognized administration and sales abilities.
- Good business understanding of the professional/commercial audio or technical industry.
- Must be motivated, set high but achievable goals, and demonstrate enthusiasm for the work.
- Must demonstrate creativity in developing innovative ideas.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator at all levels with good listening and questioning skills, and have the ability to build good team/media relationships.
- Must be a dependable team player, also able to work independently.
- Experience working in a global B2B organization.
- Fluent English and/or another language (French, Italian, Spanish, etc.).
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Dynamics).
- Basic knowledge of HTML and newsletter communication.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro and InDesign.
- Knowledge of social media and other online communication channels.
