Responsibilities
- Manage, plan, and direct the activities of the culinary service department.
- Supervise dining services staff.
- Ensure food service standards, policies, procedures, equipment, systems, and work areas meet quality standards and comply with city and state regulations.
- Coordinate with nursing staff to meet resident needs.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory control.
- Verify received orders and ensure necessary goods are on hand.
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines.
- Cook daily in the kitchen.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, Kitchen Manager, or Culinary Director in restaurants, hotels, SNF, or senior living.
- Serve Safe Certification or Certified Dining Manager (CDM).
