About the Role

Plum is seeking a senior product leader to own and scale the Investments & Pensions pillar, defining the roadmap, shaping user experience, and ensuring global product scalability while maintaining simplicity and clarity for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Wealth, Trading & Pensions product, defining strategy, roadmap, and user experience across trading platforms, investment products, and wealth management features.
  • Shape product vision and strategy, balancing business objectives, customer needs, and UX excellence.
  • Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to deliver elegant, intuitive, and scalable solutions.
  • Develop and mentor product team members to achieve strategic goals.
  • Own end-to-end product roadmaps and prioritization in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Leverage AI and automation to enhance trading decisions, portfolio management, and user interactions.
  • Drive key commercial metrics: AUM growth, investment activation and retention, pension consolidation rates, and revenue per customer.
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to navigate FCA regulatory requirements, Consumer Duty obligations, and policy changes.
  • Represent the Investments & Pensions pillar in senior leadership forums, contributing to company-wide strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, trading, or wealth management.
  • Understanding of investment products from first principles.
  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple product squads or teams in product-led organizations.
  • Player-coach mentality: energized by building and shipping features directly, not just managing others.
  • Experience leading small PM teams (1-3 reports) while staying hands-on with the product.
  • Strong UX sensibility and ability to partner with designers to create trusted and enjoyable customer experiences.
  • Proven ability to define and drive product strategy, influence stakeholders, and communicate vision across leadership and teams.
  • High analytical skills and business sense to guide prioritization based on ROI, impact, and customer value.
  • Experience delivering sophisticated products under ambiguous conditions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in trading, investment platforms, or equity research is a plus.
  • Track record of translating complex financial concepts into intuitive products is a plus.
