About the Role
This role owns the commercial and revenue operations, focusing on the entire revenue lifecycle from marketing and partnerships through sales, outbound, and renewals. You will ensure the business runs on accurate data and efficient processes, leading a small analyst team as a player-coach.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Outbound to align on goals, metrics, and revenue strategy.
- Own the commercial data model, pipeline, and forecasting, establishing consistent definitions for leads, opportunities, and renewal-risk accounts across all channels.
- Manage the renewals, upsell, and partner/outbound pipeline, including risk flagging, CS-to-sales handoffs, and pipeline tracking and attribution.
- Lead ad hoc RevOps initiatives and special projects in collaboration with the Head of Operations and other department heads.
- Manage a small analyst team as a player-coach, with the potential to grow the team as needed.
Requirements
- Revenue operations experience with a track record of managing operations for a revenue function (sales, marketing, or RevOps) at a similar-stage company.
- CRM fluency (HubSpot experience preferred), with the ability to define and maintain data cleanliness standards.
- BI/reporting fluency (Sigma experience preferred), including the ability to build dashboards and perform analysis on clean data.
- People management experience, having managed at least one direct report or demonstrating clear readiness to do so.
- Influential communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with department heads and senior stakeholders to prioritize initiatives.
- Comfortable with a hands-on, player-coach approach in the initial year.
- Ability to structure ambiguous commercial processes into clear, ownable systems.
