About the Role

We are seeking a skilled JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer to join our Ads and Commercial Development team. This role involves building and optimizing high-performance, low-latency infrastructure for commercial platforms, focusing on browser internals and efficient vanilla JavaScript development.

Responsibilities

  • Build and optimize high-performance, low-latency infrastructure for commercial platforms.
  • Write highly efficient vanilla JavaScript.
  • Interface directly with browser APIs.
  • Manage containerized infrastructure serving commercial products at scale.
  • Profile, debug, and optimize code for minimal CPU and memory footprints in constrained environments.
  • Diagnose complex, asynchronous race conditions across different browser environments and vendor scripts.
  • Proactively adopt and leverage LLM/AI coding tools to accelerate development and automate workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews, share technical insights, and welcome constructive feedback.

Requirements

  • Expert-level mastery of TypeScript and vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript for backend services and build tooling.
  • Proven experience working directly with the DOM and Browser APIs without relying on abstraction frameworks.
  • Solid hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes (K8s), and building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent command of data structures, algorithms, system design, and clean code architectures.
  • Deep understanding of browser architecture, critical rendering paths, painting, layout engine mechanics, and memory management.
  • Strong grasp of modern web standards including security protocols (CORS, CSPs), cookie policies, and web performance metrics (Core Web Vitals).
  • Conceptual knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem (highly desirable).
