About the Role

As a SAP Developer, you will develop modern SAP applications using ABAP Cloud and ABAP Objects, realize solutions with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model and OData Services, and support clients in implementing sustainable Clean Core strategies. You will also develop extensions for SAP S/4HANA, analyze requirements, and design future-proof solution architectures. Additionally, you will contribute to the creation of LTE tools for data migration, establish modern development processes with Git and DevOps approaches, and evaluate new SAP technologies for client projects. You will collaborate closely with clients and international teams, taking on technical responsibility.

Responsibilities

Develop modern SAP applications with ABAP Cloud and ABAP Objects

Support clients in implementing sustainable Clean Core strategies
Develop extensions based on Released APIs, CDS Views, and approved extension points in SAP S/4HANA
Analyze requirements and develop future-proof solution architectures
Contribute to the creation of LTE tools for data migration
Establish modern development processes with Git and DevOps approaches
Evaluate new SAP technologies and integrate them into client projects
Collaborate closely with clients and international teams
Take on technical responsibility

Requirements

Completed studies in a STEM field, business informatics, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in SAP development with ABAP Objects
Sound knowledge of ABAP Cloud
Practical experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
Experience with Core Data Services (CDS Views) and OData Services
Experience with SAP Clean Core and Developer Extensibility in SAP S/4HANA
Proficiency with Git-based development processes and modern DevOps methods
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for client consultations
Very good German and English language skills
