About the Role

The Material Handler will be responsible for placing completed material onto a pallet, building, and wrapping the pallets for shipment, while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Responsibilities

• Load finished goods onto pallets according to product specifications
• Build and stack pallets for shipment in a safe and organized manner
• Secure completed pallets using clear stretch wrap
• Report any product damages or inconsistencies to the shift supervisor promptly
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Support other departments as needed based on production demands

Requirements

• Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
• Ability to work in various weather/temperature conditions to include heat, humidity and cold
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and loud production environment
• Ability to handle continuous movement
• Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require working overtime during high demand
• Understand, follow, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and adherence to defined company policies and procedures, safety rules and SOPs
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions
• Attention to details
• Ability to frequently lift 70 lbs. and move heavy objects
• Constant manual dexterity use
• Ability to use a hand pallet jack
• Required to stand for long period of time
• Ability to walk, bend, lift, pull, twist, kneel, and reach with hand and arms for extended periods of time
