About the Role
As a Thermal Engineer at Reflex Aerospace, you will play a critical role in satellite design, ensuring optimal thermal performance in the space environment. You will contribute to top-level design and requirement definition, ensuring all satellite components operate within temperature limits throughout their mission lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Analysis, conceptual sizing and design of thermal control system
- Develop thermal models and conduct analyses to predict satellite thermal performance
- Support thermal and thermal-vacuum testing of satellites and satellite sub-systems
- Provide consultation to hardware developers in design decisions and material selection
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports
- Manage thermal interfaces with external vendors and partners to ensure optimal thermal system performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in thermal system design, analysis, and testing
- Knowledge of the design and lifecycle of satellites and their subsystems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team
- Excellent communication skills in English
