About the Role
This role involves completing drafting and design tasks for precast and prestressed concrete on structural infrastructure projects, collaborating with project teams to deliver safe, durable, and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned precast drafting and design tasks for transportation infrastructure and underground structures.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop structurally sound, cost-effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs.
- Create accurate drawings, plans, and specifications aligned with industry design standards.
- Support material cost estimation and assist Project Managers and Designers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize and support QA/QC processes and gain knowledge of precast and prestressed concrete technologies and codes.
Requirements
- 0-5 years of design experience in precast concrete design engineering for transportation infrastructure and underground structures, including utility vaults, manholes, drainage structures, and pump stations.
- Highly adaptable and proactive approach to project delivery.
- Ability to foster trusting relationships through collaboration, integrity, respect, and active listening.
- Curiosity, continuous improvement mindset, and willingness to seek better solutions.
- Ability to embrace feedback constructively and use it as an opportunity for growth.
