About the Role

Assists Physician and Registered Nurse with basic patient care and operates radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

  • Provides supportive care to patients under the direction of the registered nurse and/or physician.
  • Performs patient skill sets such as taking height and weight measurements, vital signs, IV initiations, and blood draws.
  • Documents patient care activities as needed.
  • Performs diagnostic testing using x-ray and/or computer tomography (CT scan) equipment.
  • Produces quality images and uploads them for radiology reads/interpretations.
  • Applies proper techniques and practices while performing diagnostic testing and lab procedures.
  • Reports lab and radiology results immediately to the registered nurse and/or physician.
  • Assists the registered nurse and physicians with assessments, examinations, and treatment.
  • Performs other duties such as crutch walking, dressing changes, and assisting with splint or cast application.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
  • Knowledge of current trends and techniques of x-ray technology.
  • Ability to learn quality control studies.
  • Ability to learn to use computerized radiologic equipment.
  • Ability to learn to operate a computer for recordkeeping purposes.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Responsible for complying with all privacy and security laws and internal policies and procedures.
  • Play an active role in protecting the company's sensitive data and ensuring patient information is treated with care and confidence.
  • Responsible for reporting any concerns or infractions.
  • Responsible for protecting credentials to access Company networks, systems, and data.
  • Responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all Ally and customer data.
  • Report any suspected compromises of Ally proprietary data or customer data to Management immediately.
  • Adhere to the Company’s Information Security Policy and Procedures.
  • Support standard operating procedures to protect Company systems and data.
  • Alert management immediately with any expected system or data compromises and/or system failure impacting the security, confidentiality, availability, and integrity of Ally Medical and customer data.
  • Required to attend an annual Information Security Awareness Training.
