About the Role
As a Sector Analyst for Commercial, you will assist in shaping and driving business strategies to address the needs of industrial manufacturing and architecture, engineering, and construction customers. You will lead cross-department initiatives and collaborate closely with various teams to deliver our safety, compliance, and workforce platform, owning complex projects and applying diverse skillsets to deliver outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and execution of a forward-looking product strategy tailored to the commercial customer base, using multiple data sources.
- Build comprehensive business cases for new market opportunities and emerging trends in sub-sectors.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to ensure offerings remain relevant and impactful.
- Forge strong relationships with internal teams, including Sales, Customer Experience, Product Management, Demand Gen, and Product Marketing, to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Take full ownership of cross-department projects from conception through implementation, driving initiatives that span strategic planning, operational execution, growth initiatives, and customer retention.
- Analyze the effectiveness of software solutions and training programs with a focus on profitability and key performance metrics.
- Manage pricing strategies and product catalogs to drive efficiency and sustainable growth.
- Identify business opportunities that will drive greater competitive differentiation, develop business cases, and prioritize with stakeholders across the organizations, accounting for tradeoffs.
- Conduct data analysis across multiple data sets using Claude to develop actionable insights that drive improved bookings and retention.
- Manage the Workplace Safety Seal program including data analytics and rubrics for recipients.
Requirements
- Ability to deconstruct complex challenges and convert high-level requirements into detailed, actionable projects.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a talent for conveying technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Comfortable navigating a dynamic environment while influencing outcomes across multiple teams.
- Strong data analysis skills, including advanced use of Claude and Excel.
- Ability to distill complex information into the “so what” and communicate information through executive-level documents (Word and PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel up to 15% at times.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing market is valued, but not required.
