About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join a growing team at Wandle Housing Association. We’re looking for a proactive and customer service focused Sales and Portfolio Officer to join our Development Sales team. You’ll be responsible for the success of Wandle’s new build programme and will manage the end-to-end sales process for affordable housing products.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for affordable housing products.
- Generate leads and qualify buyer eligibility against regulatory criteria.
- Conduct property viewings and manage sales pipelines from reservation to legal completion.
- Liaise with solicitors and mortgage brokers.
- Be responsible for all sales across the Wandle New Homes Sales programme, liaising with solicitors and prospective buyers, and preparing legal documentation.
- Ensure sales targets are met on Wandles products, which include new build shared ownership, resales and staircasing.
- Handle legal queries and ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare sales details for marketing materials on new build sales, as required.
- Track individual sales to completion.
- Undertake property viewings and open evenings, including weekends during sales launches.
- Support the Build More Homes Officer with project management of contractors for all void works.
- Move customers into suitable accommodation as part of the Build More Homes project, which will require new kitchens and bathrooms.
Requirements
- Proven 3 years experience in a sales, housing sales, property sales, estate agency, new homes, or customer-facing environment, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and performance objectives.
- Experience of selling Shared Ownership, Affordable Home Ownership products, or other residential property tenures is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of current housing market trends, competitor activity, and local market conditions.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between developments and event locations where required.
- Must already have and be able to provide proof of your Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
- This role will be a 1 stage in person interview.
