About the Role

OpenText is seeking a Project Manager to drive its growing Enterprise Information Management (EIM) professional services business. This role involves assisting organizations in maximizing their investment in OpenText solutions by understanding client business needs and liaising with them to build effective relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically aware, professional, and interested in how business processes interact with technology to deliver world-class Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act with clients and technical experts to analyze business processes and define optimization potential.
  • Support Presales activities.
  • Explain technical solutions and understand the technology needed for effective solutions.
  • Lead and motivate project team members and develop strong working relationships with key users.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify project requirements.
  • Track project performance to analyze goal completion.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans for clients and staff.
  • Use and develop leadership skills.
  • Attend conferences and training as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs.

Requirements

  • Manage key client projects as a project manager.
  • Oversee all aspects of projects.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress.
  • Work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within scope and budget.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure project compatibility.
  • Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks.
  • Lead and direct the work of others.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishments and exploring opportunities to add value.

  • At least 1 offshore project delivery completion
  • Proven working experience in project management
