About the Role

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assigned patients in an inpatient setting.
• Contribute to unit activities and support the enhancement of the care delivery system.
• Assist other staff members with implementing patient care.
• Assume responsibility for the care of assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD.
• Participate in the plan of care, implement appropriate nursing interventions, and contribute to patient/family education.
• Provide direct patient care to moderate-to-high risk antepartum, postpartum, and gynecologic surgery patients.
• Deliver customer-focused, family-centered care with an emphasis on patient/family teaching.
