About the Role
Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join its dedicated rehab therapies team. This role is ideal for someone seeking a Part-Time OT position at a State-of-the-Art physical rehab hospital in Schenectady, working only every Sunday and Monday.
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques.
- Establish, implement, and adapt an individualized treatment plan of care, including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency.
- Document accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree.
- Current NYS OT license and registration.
- 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
- Must be able to function well within a team concept of rehabilitation professionals.
- Flexibility, exceptional clinical reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.
