About the Role
This role involves opening doors by leveraging existing relationships with data center stakeholders to generate a qualified pipeline. You will originate and close work independently, identify client needs, lead pursuits, and secure multi-year engagements. You will also shape solutions, commercial models, and pricing, attract senior talent, build delivery capabilities, and own the delivery of sold services, ensuring client outcomes and commercial success. The goal is to grow a market, establishing a named client portfolio, repeatable proposition, and a team within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Leverage existing relationships with data centre owners, operators, developers, and the partner ecosystem to generate a qualified pipeline.
- Originate and close work independently, identifying client needs and leading pursuits end-to-end.
- Secure multi-year advisory and programme management engagements.
- Shape solutions, commercial models, design approaches, team structures, and pricing.
- Attract senior practitioners and build delivery capabilities, scaling as the pipeline converts.
- Own the delivery of sold services, ensuring client outcomes, quality, and commercial performance.
- Grow a market, establishing a named client portfolio, a repeatable proposition, and a team within 12 months.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience on large-scale capital projects in the data centre or mission-critical sector, across advisory, cost and commercial management, project or programme management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience originating and selling professional services or consulting work, with a demonstrable record of personally won revenue.
- Minimum 5 years of experience accountable for delivery of capital programme engagements, including client outcomes and commercial performance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working directly with data centre owners, operators or developers in [region/market].
- Minimum 3 years of experience building and leading teams, including hiring senior practitioners.
