About the Role

Echelon Supply and Service is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Control Inspector. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and compliance of our industrial and hydraulic hose solutions for commercial and defense markets. You will be responsible for inspecting a variety of products, verifying specifications, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, schematics, and specifications to perform inspections on hose assemblies and government kits.
• Use measurement tools to determine compliance with hose order specifications and quality control standards.
• Review production staff paperwork to ensure correct components were used for hose orders.
• Label completed orders and cross-check paperwork for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality activities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior machine shop experience is preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure and good math skills required.
• Ability to interact well with various departments within the organization.
• Must be comfortable staying on feet for most of the day.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
