About the Role
Provide pre- and post-employment skill development and employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centered services from a special education perspective.
- Assess and document participant’s skills, needs, and interests to determine appropriate supports.
- Research, develop, and create competitive internships and employment opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, human resources groups, and employment networks.
- Provide job coaching.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid NYS driver's license and transportation necessary to meet program needs.
