About the Role
General All-Purpose Plastics Ltd is expanding and seeking a Regional Operations Manager for the Essex/North London area to elevate sales and expand market footprint. This role involves leading depot initiatives, acting as a brand ambassador, forging strategic partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions.
Responsibilities
- Produce, implement and monitor organisational policies and procedures
- Train and develop depot staff
- Monitor, implement and maintain health and safety practises within the region
- Engagement and development of your regional depot team
- Assist in the growth and service both domestic and national sales accounts
- Maintain high levels of customer service in the region
- Ensure you work to achieve operational KPI’s
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager, ideally in the building materials or construction sector.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with a deep understanding of performance metrics.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- A knack for building and maintaining solid client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A willingness to travel frequently within the Essex/North London area.
