About the Role
As a Traffic Control Flagger, you will be responsible for providing traffic control within work zones year round. ADA Traffic Control will provide you with the training and knowledge needed to ensure regulations and procedures are properly followed.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with contractors on job site.
- Conduct daily traffic plans.
- Set up and tear down appropriate work zone equipment.
- Conduct flagging operations.
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of contractors, co-workers, and the general public.
- Follow training and uphold safety protocols.
- Be aware and vigilant of surroundings to spot safety hazards.
- Work under pressure and react to potential danger urgently.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with contractors, co-workers, and the general public.
- Submit paperwork to proper channels.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Must have a clean 5-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to travel to the meet point.
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
