About the Role
As a Legal & Compliance Manager at GreenMedical, you will play a central role in building a modern legal function. You will combine legal expertise with business understanding to support departments, and develop scalable and efficient legal processes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Review and process NDAs and standard contracts, perform redlinings, and prepare clear recommendations.
- Expand contract templates, clause libraries, and checklists, and develop the legal intake process.
- Review marketing measures and advertising claims, particularly concerning HWG and UWG, and support with competition law matters.
- Support data protection and compliance topics, e.g., AV contracts, data protection reviews, and internal policies.
- Coordinate KV reviews, monitor deadlines, and prepare evidence, facts, and statements.
- Monitor regulatory developments in the healthcare and digital health environment and translate them into actionable tasks for departments.
- Support with complex legal cases and communication with authorities, external law firms, and other stakeholders.
- Develop Legal Operations, including knowledge management, standard processes, Legal Tech, automation, and AI governance.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Law (LL.B./LL.M.) or comparable legal qualification; second state examination not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in an in-house legal department, law firm, compliance function, or regulated environment.
- Good knowledge of civil and contract law, and experience in independent contract review.
- Very good legal research and writing skills, and the ability to present complex topics clearly and with a focus on risk.
- Structured, independent work style and good judgment on which issues to resolve independently and when escalation is appropriate.
- Very good German (min. C2) and good English (min. B2/C1).
- Interest in Legal Operations, digitalization, and automation.
