About the Role
We are looking for a Gym Manager to lead and inspire a team, creating an exceptional member experience and maintaining first-class standards. You will ensure policies and procedures are followed and contribute to a great work environment for staff and members.
Responsibilities
- Drive gym performance through detailed action plans and ensuring a safe environment.
- Increase member count and ancillary business revenue to meet or exceed targets.
- Drive Personal Trainer revenue and recruit new talent.
- Deliver an excellent member experience through a focus on service and standards.
- Regularly walk the gym floor to assess facility cleanliness.
- Manage the team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Drive sales through successful tour execution and lead generation.
- Collaborate with other Gym Managers to strengthen area performance.
- Develop the Assistant Gym Manager and run the club effectively together.
Requirements
- Previous management experience.
- Passion for fitness and wellbeing.
- Passion for supporting people to reach their full potential.
- Ability to recruit Personal Trainers and Gym Floor Associates.
- Excellent time management, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.
