About the Role

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Responsible for the nighttime operation of the store in the absence of the Night Manager. Oversees clerks and ensures that shelves are stocked and leveled properly to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Responsible for ordering and receiving Warehouse or DSD product and ensuring adequate levels of product inventory are kept on hand at all times.

Responsibilities

Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service.
Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation.
Oversee the entire Third Shift store operation two to three nights a week.
Ensure proper shelf conditions, stock levels, and product leveling/blocking.
Hang all ‘out of stock’ signs.
Assist in the scheduling of all Night Crew Associates.
Manage Front End and Office operations, including check approvals and nightly resets.
Assist with ordering merchandise and supplies for the Grocery department.
Store excess product in the Back Room or designated area.
Ensure proper merchandising standards are maintained.
Maintain excess product in the back room area to corporate guidelines.
Assist with hiring, training, and development of new Night Crew Associates in Grocery operations.
Administer discipline or recommend discipline for Night Crew Associates.
Oversee all refrigeration and security procedures during Third Shift.
Perform all weekly and nightly resets.
Unload Warehouse and DSD merchandise deliveries.
Evaluate the performance and progress of Store Associates.
Ensure Third Shift grocery crew productivity meets standards and tasks are accomplished.
Implement and maintain all corporate and state sanitation and pricing procedures.
Protect company inventory and assets.
Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
