About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Agentic SOC team. This team's mission is to build LLM-powered agents that augment our security analysts, taking on repetitive investigation and triage work so humans can focus on the judgment-heavy parts of the job. You will work in a small, full-stack team contributing to your stream's goal, working across whatever systems and layers are needed to deliver it. This is a role for someone who wants real ownership and is excited about shipping agents into a real production SOC where correctness, latency, and cost all matter.

Responsibilities

Own features end-to-end as Feature Lead: scope the problem, coordinate work within your team, make day-to-day technical decisions, and ship it to production.
Lead the design and delivery of LLM agents that plug into our SOC workflows, including tool design, prompt and context engineering, evals, and guardrails.
Make sound tradeoffs on accuracy, cost, latency, and how much autonomy to give the agent versus keeping a human in the loop.
Drive technical design discussions in your stream and influence architecture and standards.
Set the bar for code quality, testing, and documentation on your team.
Ground engineering decisions in outcomes.
Propose simpler or faster paths to the business result, and stay close to the security analysts and customers your agents are meant to serve.
Mentor engineers on your team and across the stream through pairing, code review, and design feedback.
Act as a multiplier, not just a strong individual contributor.
Participate in hiring: interview candidates, help shape the bar, and support onboarding.
Contribute to a psychologically safe and outcome-oriented team culture.
Lead by example in incidents and high-pressure moments.

Requirements

5+ years of development experience, including meaningful full-stack exposure.
Comfortable working across backend and frontend layers and picking up new technologies independently.
Depth in at least one technical area and broad competence across the stack.
Designed and shipped systems where performance, security, reliability, and maintainability all mattered, and can explain the tradeoffs made.
Experience with strongly typed languages (Typescript, Java, dotnet, PHP, or similar).
Hands-on experience building LLM agents, with evidence they were useful.
Built and shipped at least one non-trivial LLM-powered agent or agentic workflow, in production or as a side project with real users.
Can speak concretely about design choices made around tool use, context and state, evals, failure handling, autonomy, cost, and latency.
Comfortable using AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow.
A track record of raising the level of engineers around you through mentoring, code review, and design feedback.
Strong communication skills.
Can translate technical tradeoffs for engineers, product managers, and leadership.
Write designs and decisions in a way others can build on.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and secure development principles to build safe, trusted systems.
Fluency in English is a must.
