About the Role

The Medical Office Assistant serves as the customer service liaison, ensuring a seamless patient experience through efficient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and billing processes. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program or direct patient care experience.
  • Experience in collection of patient information and data.
  • Experience in patient interactions.
  • Experience assisting physicians with procedures in a medical office or hospital setting.
  • Previous experience in a walk-in, primary care, or specialty care setting is preferred.
  • Certified medical administrative assistant (CMAA) is preferred.
  • Strong clerical background with excellent computer skills is preferred.
  • Documentation of current CPR certification required within 1 week of start of employment.
