About the Role
Join LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance as a specialist subject matter expert responsible for creating, maintaining and enhancing financial services regulatory obligations content. You will translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical, business-friendly compliance content that helps customers understand and implement their obligations. Working closely with content, product and technology teams, you will help shape a strategically important portfolio while supporting innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Own assigned financial services regulatory content and maintain deep subject matter knowledge across relevant regulatory frameworks and developments.
- Create, maintain and enhance simplified regulatory registers that convert complex obligations into clear, practical compliance requirements.
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure content remains accurate, current and aligned with customer needs and workflows.
- Interpret legislation, regulatory obligations and supervisory expectations, identifying their practical implications for regulated organisations.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to expand, restructure or improve financial services content based on regulatory and customer needs.
- Engage with customers and support Sales, Product, Marketing and customer-facing teams with practical subject matter input.
- Manage and review work from subject matter experts, contributors or vendors to maintain quality, consistency and legal accuracy.
- Collaborate across content, product and technology teams to improve scalable workflows, including appropriate use of AI-assisted tools.
Requirements
- Specific financial services regulatory expertise gained in a bank, insurer, financial institution, regulator or legal practice supporting the sector.
- Strong knowledge of European regulatory and compliance processes, with experience interpreting legislation and complex regulatory obligations.
- The ability to translate technical legal requirements into practical, accessible compliance content or business solutions.
- Experience maintaining compliance frameworks, regulatory registers, obligations content or comparable regulatory materials.
- Excellent analytical, research and drafting skills, with strong attention to detail and sound commercial judgement.
- Confidence engaging with customers, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts across a global organisation.
- An adaptable and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement.
