About the Role

The Evaluation Officer will support the delivery of targets in the Access and Participation Plan and play an active role in implementing the new Access and Participation Evaluation Strategy. This role involves understanding "What Works" in supporting students to succeed by collating and analysing data on initiatives and translating findings into practical insights.

Responsibilities

  • Collate and analyse data on Access and Participation initiatives and broader student success interventions.
  • Translate findings into practical insights for colleagues.
  • Share best practice and knowledge about evaluation across the university.
  • Deliver training and promote the work of the evaluation team.

Requirements

  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of evaluation methodologies.
  • Experience collecting and analysing data.
  • Confidence to advise colleagues on best practice in data collection and analysis.
  • Comfortable building effective stakeholder relationships across the university.
