About the Role
The State Pre-K Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing based on individual child needs and program requirements. This role aims to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond through curiosity, inventiveness, and open-heartedness.
Responsibilities
- Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Ensure compliance with licensing guidelines, company standards, and Pre-K program requirements.
- Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and center success.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state requirements for education and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
