About the Role
The role is responsible for ensuring compliant, efficient, environmentally sound, safe, and economical planning, monitoring, and control of maintenance, as well as planning and executing maintenance activities and projects within the power plant facilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute installations, maintenance, and upkeep of generation facilities.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve faults, and process planned orders in power plant facilities.
- Perform timely repairs of units such as steam generators, fittings, gearboxes, pumps, belt systems, and continuous conveyors.
- Create repair reports for completed maintenance tasks.
- Assess hazards and situations, implementing measures for safe work execution.
- Oversee and approve maintenance services.
- Coordinate external companies for complex maintenance tasks.
- Request lockouts from operations for execution-compliant work.
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical-vocational training in mechanical or plant engineering, mechatronics, or similar, plus completed industrial foreman or technician training.
- Fluent German language skills at a minimum of C1 level as the primary working language.
- Knowledge in maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of large industrial plants.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and plans.
- Possession of a Class B driver's license.
