About the Role
The People Team (HR) Intern will provide solutions-driven support to the People Team, gaining an opportunity to see how HR strategy and academic theory translate into practice in manufacturing and office environments. This 10-week summer internship runs from June 1 to August 6, 2027.
Responsibilities
- Partner with HRBP to support day-to-day people operations across Manufacturing, R&D, and Product teams
- Assist with employee engagement efforts
- Maintain a working understanding of HR policies, programs, plans, and initiatives
- Help establish and refine SOPs and other HR processes in partnership with the People Team and business leaders
- Collaborate with People Team members across functions to brainstorm and pilot new programs
- Surface trends or issues from the floor and prepare recommendations to the HRBP for process or program improvement
- Provide light administrative support as needed
Requirements
- Undergraduate student majoring in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related field
- Adaptive and flexible to work on an agile HR team in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable spending time on a manufacturing floor and interfacing directly with employees
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and a high level of discretion
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
