About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner (f/m/d) who enjoys being in the middle of Product, Business, and Engineering. You will be part of the engineering team, sharing responsibility for the applications we build. Your role involves translating business requirements into technically sound and testable work, coordinating tasks, challenging ideas, and ensuring completion.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements, user stories, tickets, and acceptance criteria.
  • Build a solid understanding of how UI, frontend, backend, APIs, and databases interact across full-stack applications.
  • Perform acceptance and smoke testing, work with APIs, and validate data to investigate functionality.
  • Organize and orchestrate work within the team, manage dependencies, and move features from idea to production.
  • Help decide feature readiness for release and develop a strong sense for quality, performance, monitoring, and potential risks.

Requirements

  • Ability to break down complex business requirements into clear, structured, and testable work.
  • Ability to define meaningful acceptance criteria.
  • Practical experience with APIs, testing, and data validation.
  • Understanding of how frontend, backend, and databases work together.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of Git and modern development workflows (branches, commits, pull requests, merges).
  • Ability to work carefully and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and easy-to-understand tickets and documentation.
  • Ability to ask questions and absorb new technical concepts quickly.
  • Ability to communicate openly and directly with developers and business stakeholders at eye level.
  • Portfolio, side project, or demo repo demonstrating ability to ship production-ready work.
