About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Director (all genders) to support our production team in Berlin for a public broadcasting primetime format, from now until the end of the year. You are the go-to person on set, ensuring everything runs smoothly, whether plans go as expected or need adjustments.
Responsibilities
- Support the 1st Assistant Director and Production Management in preparing, executing, and post-producing the show.
- Plan and coordinate shoots in studio and on location, ensuring smooth production flow.
- Monitor the shooting schedule.
- Handle personnel bookings.
- Coordinate actors, camera teams, and set staff, and confirm appointments.
- Prepare settlements, travel, and work records.
Requirements
- Solid professional experience as an Assistant Director in show and studio productions.
- Ideally, experience with international filming.
- Excellent organizational skills and assertiveness.
- Reliable and resilient.
- Flexible working hours as part of the set crew.
- Independent, organized, and structured work style with very good communication skills.
- Possession of a Class B driver's license.
