About the Role
This role is a hybrid Reception & Service / Gym Instructor position. You will be the first point of contact for gym visitors, responsible for excellent service delivery and working in the gym to encourage member activity and lead group exercise classes.
Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and enquiries
- Supporting the Manager in the operation of the gym
- Administration of payment transactions
- Collecting and relaying customer feedback
- Dealing effectively with customer queries
- Delivery of the sales process including conducting In-reach and Outreach programmes
- Day to day gym operations including maintenance, member interactions and cleaning kit
- Booking and planning member inductions
- Teaching group exercise classes
Requirements
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification is required.
- Ability to embody company values (Passionate, Inclusive, Productive, Enterprising and Supportive) and display potential for development.
Skills
- Excellent customer service
- Good communication: written and oral
- Knowledge of computerised management system
- Good organisation
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of the Health and Fitness Industry
