About the Role
This role requires delivering comprehensive client engagement skills, from day-to-day tasks, pitching proposals, and negotiations to executions, to provide proper service to 20 existing clients (10 rates clients/10 GCFT clients).
Responsibilities
- Vice President (or below) level position in the Rates Team within RMS Japan.
- Maintain existing clients and increase revenue from them, also look to onboard new clients.
- Run key transactions from start to finish, collaborating with coverage bankers on client engagement, legal, trading, and other stakeholders (risk, product control, credit) and conclude the execution of these transactions.
Requirements
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
- 5 years+ experience as a Corporate Rates sales
- Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including structuring and pricing expertise
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and enhance relationships with senior client contacts (eg Regional CFO/Group Treasurer)
- Practical knowledge of market regulations and documentation
- JSDA level 1 qualification holder.
- Native level Japanese and business-level English.
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Self-motivated for accomplishing revenue targets, personable and able to develop & maintain relationships.
- Able to work in collaboratively; a team player.
