About the Role

Join our premier healthcare environment as a Clinical Nurse I - RN in the Neuroscience ICU. You will provide expert, evidence-based care to patients with severe brain injuries, stroke, or brain tumors, often assisting with delicate procedures and supporting neurosurgical recovery. This role offers a fast-paced, family-oriented environment where skilled nursing professionals are central to our mission of Putting Patients First.

Responsibilities

Assist with inserting central lines and pulmonary artery catheters.
Assist physicians with bedside procedures such as inserting a drain in the patient's skull to reduce pressure.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current New York State RN license
BCLS certification
All roles require on-site presence.
Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
Two years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
