About the Role

Nurses, discover the epicenter of Critical Care Nursing at NewYork-Presbyterian, delivering expert evidence-based care in premier environments like Level 1 Trauma Centers, Pediatric Cardiac ICU, the nation’s largest Burn Treatment Center, Level 4 Neonatal ICU, and Neuroscience ICU. This role is crucial in a fast-paced, family-oriented environment where skilled nursing professionals are key to the hospital-wide mission of Putting Patients First.

Responsibilities

Assist with delicate procedures such as inserting central lines and pulmonary artery catheters.
Assist physicians with bedside procedures such as inserting a drain in the patient's skull to reduce pressure.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Current New York State RN license
BCLS certification
All roles require on-site presence.
Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
