About the Role

As a Campaign Marketing Manager, you will be embedded within the client's UK Retail Banking Performance Marketing team. This delivery-focused role requires managing multiple campaigns, operating effectively across complex stakeholder environments, and maintaining high standards under pressure. You will combine digital marketing expertise with a customer-first mindset, applying clear thinking and sound judgment from insight and strategy through to execution and performance reporting. The role is ideal for someone with client-side performance marketing experience in financial services, telecoms, utilities, or a similarly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end campaign delivery lifecycle across paid and owned channels, including video, display, social, email, radio, press, and OOH.
  • Develop and execute multi-variant campaign strategies to differentiate the client from competitors.
  • Ensure all communications are on-brand, product-aligned, customer-focused, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze customer, market, and performance data to generate actionable insights and effective marketing strategies.
  • Manage campaign budgets with a focus on return on investment, cost per acquisition, and commercial performance.
  • Develop campaign roadmaps and testing frameworks in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring projects stay on time.
  • Manage relationships with client's Digital, Product, and Marketing teams, as well as external agency partners.
  • Ensure high standards of quality assurance across all campaign materials.
  • Take ownership of risk management and governance, escalating issues promptly and maintaining documentation.
  • Report on campaign performance and testing outcomes, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance and present solutions to stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-standards culture within the Performance Marketing team.
  • Manage project and campaign-level budgets, including cost estimation, spend tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Optimize budget allocation across channels to maximize commercial impact.
  • Report on spend against forecast and identify budget risks early.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in digital performance marketing with strong knowledge of paid media channels.
  • Track record of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience surfacing customer, market, and performance insights and translating them into effective campaign strategies.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across complex organizations.
  • Client-side experience across paid and owned performance marketing channels, ideally within financial services, telecoms, utilities, or a comparable regulated industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Collaborative, outcomes-focused working style.
  • Experience managing campaign-level budgets and optimizing spend for commercial performance.
  • Alignment with the client's core values: Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship.
  • Experience managing campaign or project-level marketing budgets, including cost estimation, spend tracking, and financial reconciliation.
  • Confidence working within the governance and approval frameworks of regulated financial environments.
  • Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to marketing.
  • Experience building AI-assisted workflows to support personal productivity and output quality.
  • Agentic approach to campaign management: able to break complex projects into structured plans and execute with minimal direction.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply sound human judgment.
