About the Role
As an E-Commerce Product Owner, you will be the central interface between product/dev, operations, and marketing. You will build features that advance customers and measurably increase conversion, making our shop the benchmark in its class.
Responsibilities
- Full ownership and UX/UI excellence: Drive the webshop, own the product roadmap, steer features by business impact, and ensure a seamless, customer-friendly UI/UX experience on all devices.
- Conversion & Journey Optimization: Optimize the entire funnel, from search to product detail pages (PDP) to checkout.
- Data-Driven Growth: Utilize GA4, BI, and A/B tests. Take KPI responsibility (CVR, AOV, cart abandonment, RPV) and derive concrete hypotheses and experiments.
- Smart Features & Ecosystems: Develop customer-friendly compatibility filters (Matter, Apple Home, Alexa, etc.) and intelligent starter set and bundle mechanics to reduce explanation needs and increase average order value.
- Next-Level AI Shopping: Own innovative AI features, including guided selling, semantic search, and a conversational smart home assistant.
- Agile Interface: Translate customer needs and business goals into clear requirements for the tech, design, and marketing teams, ensuring the highest quality with every release.
Requirements
- E-commerce DNA: Several years of experience in transactional e-commerce with proven success in CVR and funnel optimization, delivering metrics, not just features.
- Deep Tech & Analytics Understanding: Proficiency in web analytics (GA4, tracking concepts, dashboards), basic SQL knowledge, and a solid understanding of modern e-commerce architectures (Shopware, Magento, commercetools, or Headless/APIs).
- Commercial Drive: Think in contribution margins and unit economics, prioritizing feature requests strictly by P&L impact.
- UX/UI & Quality Sense: Excellent eye for intuitive user guidance and a commitment to launching only flawless, customer-friendly web applications.
- AI-First Mindset: Naturally use AI tools in your daily workflow to rapidly elevate analyses, specs, or experiments.
- Language Skills: Native-level German and excellent English skills.
- Office-First & Team Vibes: Enjoy in-person interaction, value quick communication, and are eager to work together daily in our beautiful office in the heart of Berlin-Mitte.
