About the Role
The Financial Controller is responsible for the establishment and expansion of financial, production, and sales controlling, as well as liquidity management and reporting to the board. They will work closely with the accounting team and the Group CFO.
Responsibilities
- Establishment and further development of financial controlling
- Creation and ongoing monitoring of liquidity management
- Introduction and establishment of production controlling
- Introduction and establishment of sales controlling
- Review of monthly accounting together with the accounting team
- Creation of planning and forecast
- Establishment and monthly creation of internal controlling
- Creation of monthly financial reporting for the board
- Support with group consolidation bookings together with the CFO
Requirements
- Completed degree, e.g., Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Controlling, Economics, or comparable
- Relevant professional experience in financial controlling, ideally in a comparable position
- Sound knowledge of HGB accounting required, IFRS desirable
- Experience in supporting group consolidation bookings
- Confident use of controlling instruments (planning, forecast, reporting)
- Analytical thinking and a structured, independent way of working
- Knowledge of LucaNet required
- Very good MS Excel skills required
- Basic English skills, especially in technical wording
- Strong communication skills in dealing with the board, CFO, and accounting team
