About the Role

In this responsible position, you will shape and coordinate the further development of our university's quality management system and support key quality assurance processes. You will assist the system-accredited university in implementing quality standards, evaluations, and accreditation and certification procedures, contributing significantly to the sustainable development of the quality of study, teaching, and organization. You will work closely with university management, academic departments, program coordinators, faculty, administrative units, and external reviewers, serving as a central interface between strategic university development and operational quality work.

Responsibilities

Coordination and further development of the university-wide quality management system, including ensuring its regulatory compliance.
Organization and support of internal accreditation procedures and follow-up on the implementation of conditions and recommendations.
Coordination of quality monitoring, including the collection, evaluation, and preparation of quality-relevant key figures and evaluation results.
Advising university management, faculties, and program coordinators on quality management and quality assurance matters.
Preparation of quality reports and provision of decision-relevant information for university bodies.
Further development and documentation of QM processes, regulations, and instruments, including the QM manual.
Preparation and support of external quality assurance procedures (e.g., system reaccreditations or institutional reviews).
Promotion of a quality culture through training, information offerings, and support of the continuous improvement process (PDCA).

Requirements

Successfully completed university degree, preferably in Quality Management, Higher Education Management, Educational Management, Organizational Development, Social Sciences, or a comparable field.
Several years of professional experience in the higher education sector, preferably in quality management, quality assurance and/or evaluation or higher education development, ideally in the higher education or educational sector.
Experience in supporting accreditation, evaluation, or certification procedures.
Knowledge of the requirements and processes in the field of higher education quality assurance and accreditation.
Skills in using quality management systems as well as methods of evaluation and process development.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and digital analysis, documentation, and administration systems.
Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
High communication and cooperation skills, as well as a confident demeanor with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to independently manage complex processes and projects.
Teamwork, sense of responsibility, and a high degree of service orientation.
Very good German language skills and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
