About the Role

BRAVO is seeking a Program Manager who is a Professional Engineer to lead a project team and delivery for a large public agency contract. The Program Manager will be responsible for setting goals, developing project implementation strategies, policies, & procedures to guide the project/program and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

  • Build a collaborative work environment.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and instruction to team members and colleagues.
  • Lead cross-functional projects/programs and initiatives with demanding resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
  • Negotiate program scope changes, staffing assignments, and fees.
  • Develop program organizational structures and implementation strategies.
  • Define program resource requirements.
  • Manage client relationship & communication.
  • Monitor design and construction activities to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and corporate quality standards.
  • Define & assign project responsibilities to the Project/Program Team.
  • Evaluate project financials, cash flow analyses, and cost estimates, as well as purchase orders, change orders, and invoices and implement actions to facilitate program compliance and successful program delivery.
  • Work with MEP and architecture teams to forecast, identify and address potential liabilities and risks.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships.
  • Manage conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • Professional Engineer registration (PE) in NY is required.
  • LEED accreditation is a strong plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience within a consulting or design-build firm, with significant exposure to program management (including project financials).
  • Experience with NYC public agency design project management is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with buildings in NYC is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing concurrent complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience & knowledge in project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards.
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally and externally to establish credibility on project teams.
  • Knowledge and ability to creatively resolve issues as they arise.
  • Knowledge and ability to supervise people including recruitment, training, performance management, and people development.
  • High proficiency with general Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated experience with design software and applications (AutoCAD, REVIT, etc.).
  • Ability to forecast project challenges and motivate team to develop solutions to maintain compliance with safety protocols, quality, schedule and budget.

Salary/Compensations

  • $175,000—$210,000 USD
