About the Role
The AMI (Allergan Medical Institute) Associate Manager is responsible for guiding healthcare providers through their educational journey and upskilling them with injectables AA products by offering training opportunities. The candidate will lead the execution and development of medical education strategy from concept/message development to execution, aligning with brand strategy and implementing virtual and face-to-face training solutions to meet HCP needs for optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute medical education strategy in alignment with international and local goals and objectives.
- Responsible for local roll-out of global/regional medical education strategy and content assets.
- Co-create high-quality training content with faculty members by eliciting physicians’ perspectives, clinical insights, and educational needs.
- Lead assigned education projects from concept and content development through implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop planning and execution of new projects in AMI and manage to launch it to meet the timeline.
- Collaborate cross functionally with international and local internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Track year planning of activities for tactical execution, analyzing outcomes and providing recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain strong relationships with KOLs and thought leaders and develop key customers.
- Cultivate strong relationships with cross functional departments.
- Ensure programs are executed compliantly and in-line with regulatory and legal regulations.
- Take a proactive approach in researching new trends in facial aesthetics.
- Manage the expense within the agreed budget and contribute towards the setting of future budgets.
- Travel to select programs, events, and conventions.
Requirements
- Master or Bachelor’s degree in related fields
- Experience in pharmaceutical & device industry, and /or field related to training
- Strong experience and understanding of medical education planning and execution
- Creative and innovative mindset to develop new approaches beyond conventional methods
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization
- Ability to work under pressure, set priorities, and act with ownership
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Performance-driven with strong teamwork skills
- Strong scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge
- Clinical trial experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills to discuss scientific data and clinical techniques with senior clinicians and colleagues
- Willingness and availability to travel domestically and/or internationally
- Ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations, identify key issues, and make sound decisions
- Commitment to creating better educational environments that improve healthcare professionals’ capabilities and patient outcomes
- Ability to distinguish facts from assumptions, validate key information, and escalate uncertainties appropriately
- High standards for scientific accuracy, educational quality, compliance, and clinical relevance
- Curiosity and learning agility to identify and apply emerging clinical, scientific, and educational trends
