About the Role
As a Finance Manager, you will play a central role in the Finance organization, focusing on steering group-wide payment transactions, cash management, and liquidity planning. You will also support the Turkish subsidiary as a commercial contact person, ensuring the interface between local management, accounting, and the Group Finance team in Berlin.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an elementary contribution to the setup, coordination, and steering of group-wide payment transactions, ensuring reliable and timely execution of payments.
- Be responsible for the operational administration of bank connections, including bank accounts, powers of attorney, access rights, and relevant bank documentation.
- Serve as the central contact person for banks on operational issues and coordinate bank-related processes within the group.
- Track measures, ensure project progress, and manage escalations proactively.
- Continuously develop cash management and payment processes, as well as the existing system landscape, and support their standardization and automation.
- Support the Turkish subsidiary with commercial topics and act as a central interface between local management, accounting, and Group Finance.
- Collaborate closely with the VP Finance Operations, CFO, Controlling / FP&A, and finance managers of the subsidiaries.
Requirements
- Completed commercial or banking apprenticeship, business administration degree, or comparable qualification.
- Minimum of three to five years of relevant professional experience in finance, ideally with exposure to cash management, payment transactions, or treasury.
- Good understanding of payment transactions, liquidity planning, and bank-related processes.
- Structured, meticulous, and responsible work approach, maintaining an overview even with numerous parallel tasks.
- Enjoy coordinating various internal and external contacts and driving topics independently.
- Pragmatic and hands-on approach: coordinate and take on operational tasks as needed.
- Experience in Finance Transformation, Finance Excellence, CFO Office, or Consulting is beneficial.
- Knowledge and practical experience in Post-Merger Integration (PMI) is beneficial.
- Experience in a PE-financed or high-growth company environment is beneficial.
