About the Role
The Associate Endovascular Planning Specialist is responsible for planning Custom Made and Zenith endovascular stent grafts based on physician instructions. This role is initially offered on a 2-year fixed-term contract at the London Endovascular Planning Service, involving close collaboration with the planning team and wider organization.
Responsibilities
- Review digital images to plan appropriate endovascular grafts with guidance.
- Plan custom made and standard Zenith endografts with guidance.
- Consistently work towards agreed expectations and goals for quality and volume of cases planned.
- Respond to customer and colleague inquiries and manage administrative responsibilities accurately.
- Liaise with referring physicians and Cook field teams to agree on the most appropriate graft design.
- Attend Planning Meetings for complex case discussions and communicate with physicians and the Cook team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and Cook colleagues.
- Support training workshops with Planning and Sizing presentations/didactic sessions.
- Improve task execution by actively listening to feedback.
- Attend procedures in a clinical setting with ionizing radiation.
- Attend meetings, conferences, or workshops, requiring some travel.
- Work in accordance with COOK’s policies, procedures, and internal processes, ensuring compliance.
Requirements
- Full training will be provided for the role, including systems, processes, and technical requirements.
- Qualified Radiographer, Medical Imaging Technologist, or equivalent qualification.
- CT imaging experience preferred.
- Experience working with CT workstations preferred.
- Experience using TeraRecon or similar medical imaging/viewing software preferred.
- Experience delivering training or presentations preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
- Approaches tasks with flexibility, initiative, and enthusiasm.
- Able to understand and follow established processes and instructions, while seeking guidance.
- Able to apply technical knowledge and experience to assess information and make informed decisions.
- Able to remain calm, focused, and receptive to feedback in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
